It’s been awhile since a movie’s gotten me teary eyed, and Kotonoha no Niwa did just that. It’s amazing to me that a film as short as this one was able to pull me in as much as it did, and deliver it’s crushing blow to my heartstrings as quickly as it did, and for that I can say I am very impressed. The film not only looks pretty, but even the CG elements look absolutely breathtaking, and I’m the kind of guy that hates CG. The soundtrack fits the tone of the story perfectly, and it really gives that added effect to the mood that makes the film so great to watch and listen to. I can’t say too much about it since it’s so short, and as a matter of fact I would rather not say a thing because I would hate to give away any information about this masterpiece that everyone should see. I can’t recommend it enough and I highly encourage you to just go and watch it, it will be time you don’t regret, and is a film you could watch over and over and over again and still enjoy to a significant degree every single time. I give this film a:
10 out of 10.
